I’m currently trying to get back my care free youth. If only I could find my Flux Capacitor. I found a web site that has Flux Capacitor Electrical Theory so I think I can make the darn thing work…if only I could find it.
The reason all of this has come up is a friend of mine [an old co-worker] is turning 30 pretty quick and he reminded me that I’m not as young an I once was. So now I want to use the space-time continuum to become young again. My early twenties would be just about perfect.
I’ve been using SwagBucks for several months now and have earned 255 Swag Bucks from search and 2 Swag Bucks (SB) from friends.
The way that it works is you use the SwagBucks site for searches and occasionally they reward you with Swag Bucks. The most Swag Bucks that I won was 10 on a single search. I was pretty excited.
You can redeem your Swag Bucks for merchandise or gift certificates. Right now I’m saving my Swag Bucks for a big prize…a PS3. It’ll be a while before I reach the 4500 SB needed to “buy” the PS3.

….for the main website. This blog stays where it has been. If you have been visiting the main website you would have noticed that there was some advertising that interrupted the header images. The company that had been hosting the site decided to add advertising to the websites that they hosted for free. Although this is pretty common for “free” hosting services to do it was a change that I was not going to accept. So I started to look for a new free host.
I was able to find a new hosting company that offered free hosting without host added advertising. So I signed up to give them a try. I then went to Godaddy to switch the nameservers to those of the new host. While I was waiting for the Internet to reboot [haha] and send traffic to the new host I began to move files from the old host to the new host.

Last night in Grand Rapids Michigan a group of Zombies were sighted walking about town. It was an attempt to break the world record for a Zombie Walk. The previous record was 1,000 and the Grand Rapids Zombies claimed to have 4,000 walkers.
It looked like they had a bunch of fun.
Well I was kinda forced to start this blog because I lost a bunch of traffic at America’s Beach Bum because apparently it is not in of it self a blog which is a requirement by the powers that be at Entrecard. So try to tell me this is not a Blog. Ok I apologize, don’t kick me off again, Entrecard has been an awesome source of traffic for which I am very thankful.
I will be setting up a new Entrecard account for this blog. So I expect to see traffic go from 0 to 60 in 4.1 seconds
I added a new static page to this blog. I was listening to Leo Laporte’s podcast where he was asked about WordPress plugins. He shared some of the plugins that he uses on his blog. He also discusses the fact that he has a Colophon to help his visitors in the event that they also use WordPress.
I thought that it was a great idea so I am following his lead and have created one too. Note the link above.
The purpose of a Colophon is to inform visitors how a website has been created.
I tried to join Entrecard but was denied [I assume] because I lack the five post minimum that they require. Hmmm, I guess that I need to create two more posts and then resubmit.
It has been summer for weeks now and the beach bum in all of us yearns to head to the beach. Don’t let that guy [or gal] down, get to the beach where the sand and surf meet, where the salty air tastes so good.
Go on get in the water, the refreshing coolness chilling you off from the mid-summer heat. To paraphrase an old saying, “Go to the beach young man, go to the beach.”
